Donor found!

Thanks to all who responded and those who kept me in their thoughts. as it turns out, my sister, Janna Lange passed all levels of testing and became my donor! what a blessing from someone I've know for many years! so after a couple months wait, we had transplant surgery on mon the 28th of September. all is going well right now as we navigate the new situation.

starting in may, I started peritoneal dialysis. what a transition that was to make. doing nights hooked to a machine for 9 hours. by mid June, Janna started her testing and kept getting called back. on July 7th we received the news that she would be recommended as my donor.

I'd like to offer this page to anyone who is in need of a kidney.
